Blue-Cran-Berry Vanilla Mug Cake – Explore With Me

A month back, I started my baking journey with a simple chocolate mug cake recipe. Being so fascinated with this easy and delightful process, I found myself baking it every other day. In no time I was gorging on innumerable sinful chocolate savory and as good as it does taste, I realized I needed a change.
My midnight hunger got me scrounging the kitchen and I luckily stumbled upon some dried blueberries and cranberries, thus baking another variation in this mug cake edition- A Blue-Cran-Berry Vanilla Cake.
Ingredients Used (Small mug)

Mug (Microwave Safe)
All-purpose flour or Maida (2 tbsp)
Butter (2 tbsp)
Baking powder (1/2 tsp)
Milk (2 tbsp)
Powdered Sugar (2 tsp)
Vanilla Essence
Dried Blueberries (2 tbsp)
Dried Cranberries (2 tbsp)

( You can also use fresh blueberries and cranberries)

Instructions

Sieve the flour, powdered sugar and baking powder in a microwave-safe mug and mix it.
Add the melted butter into the mixture and blend it well.
Pour 2 tbsp of milk and add a few drops of vanilla extract and whisk it thoroughly. Make sure the batter is not curdled up and all the ingredients are mixed properly.
Lastly, stir in the dried blueberries and cranberries as per your taste.
If you are using a small mug, place it inside a microwave and let it bake for a minute. In case you are using a bigger mug, bake it for a minute and a half.
Take the mug out and check if the cake has baked thoroughly by using a toothpick (if not, then bake it for another half minute)
Scatter some blueberries and cranberries on top and enjoy the flavorsome combination of Blue-Cran-Berry Vanilla Cake.

This can be a perfect breakfast idea or just another toothsome recipe to satiate your hunger. With every bite the blueberries and cranberries will burst in your mouth and the luscious vanilla will surely entice you till the end.
